Targeting Lake Trout Through the Ice - Event is Full

This clinic focuses on ice fishing for lake trout, and is taught by both outreach and fisheries staff.  Techniques will include jigging and setting tip-ups, but no ice fishing experience is necessary.  All gear will be provided.  Dress in warm clothes with good footwear and pack plenty of cocoa and food. Introduction to Fly Tying: Montpelier VT

Learn the basics of fly tying in this fun hands on course! Course topics will include terminology, tools and basic fly patterns. This course is part of partnership between the Mad Dog Chapter of Trout Unlimited and Vermont Fish & Wildlife. The course runs from 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday evenings, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31 There is a $20 materials fee, participants are expected to attend all 4 evenings.

Join us for an Introduction to trout and salmon trolling techniques following ice out. The course will cover a variety of topics including lures, rods, trolling techniques, and more. It will be taught in a classroom setting and notebooks are encouraged.
