Introduction to Fish Processing- Branbury State Park

Participants will have an opportunity to learn how to clean and fillet there catch! Fish will be provided so participants can learn the technique in a hands on environment.

Where: Branbury State Park, Salisbury VT

Abenaki Traditional Fishing Techniques

Here's a Great Learning Experience for Young and Old! Come join our staff and Aaron Desroches of Alnôbaiwi - www.alnobaiwi.org to learn the basics of fishing plus the traditions of the Abenaki, including their fishing equipment and ways to honor the catch. The FREE clinic will cover ecology, knot tying, fish identification and more!

Kids Fishing Event - West Rupert

This event is part of the department’s Children’s Fishing Program, designed to give kids the opportunity for a fun and successful fishing experience. The event is sponsored by a local organization and the department provides 8 to 10” stocked trout for the kids to test out their angling skills.
