A Week at Conservation Camp Will Last a Child a Lifetime.

Green Mountain Conservation Camp is a residential wildlife educational program whose mission is to cultivate a caring attitude among our youth for Vermont’s fish and wildlife resources. The department operates two facilities for the GMCC program : Edward F. Kehoe Conservation Camp and Buck Lake Conservation Camp.

A child spending a week at GMCC will increase their knowledge and skills of the outdoors, receive their combination firearm and bow hunter certification, meet new friends, and create lasting memories
