Black River Rod & Gun Club Annual Youth Fishing Derby

Open to youth participants ages 15 and under, this annual derby combines fishing basics with fishing derby fun.

Registration will open at 8:30am followed by educational sessions such as casting & fish identification. Prizes and refreshments are provided by Black River Rod & Gun Club. Participants should bring their own equipment, power bait and/or worms are recommended.

Fishing Basics - Windsor VT

Get ready for spring fishing! The Windsor Recreation Center, Windsor Coon Hunters Association, and Vermont's Lets go Fishing program are teaming up for a hands-on event covering the basics of fishing. Designed to set you up for success on the water this event is open to all ages. This is the perfect event to get ready for the spring fishing season! Note: no fishing will take place during the event.

Intermediate Fly-Tying Course

During this intermediate course participants will learn additional fly-tying techniques to enhance their skills. All of the tools and materials will be supplied for this course with a registration fee of $30.

This course will be taught over 4 sessions, the sessions are being held on Thursday evenings from 6pm-8pm on March 13, 20, 27 and April 3rd. All 4 sessions must be attended.
