"Stream Wise" for Streamside Landowners

Stream Wise is a new program for streamside landowners. You can learn how to protect your home, your stream, and your community by taking good care of the trees and shrubs along the stream. Some of your neighbors are already participating, and have even won an Award!

Friends of the Winooski River and Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department invite YOU to join us on Saturday, September 24 at 3:00 pm at Twinfield School's lower field in Plainfield VT as we introduce this exciting program, recognize the landowners who have participated in this pilot year, and go for a walk in the woods along Naismith Brook to learn about healthy buffers.
