Vermont’s alpine plant community is found only on the summits and ridgelines of Mt. Mansfield, Camel’s Hump and Mt. Abraham. The harsh conditions atop these mountains is hospitable to select fragile and rare plants which have adapted over millennia to the alpine environment.
Join the Green Mountain Club and Bob Popp, Botanist with VT Fish & Wildlife Department to gain an understanding of the natural communities and rare plants which exist at the top of Vermont.
