An archery deer license and a hunting license are required to hunt during the archery season

One of our native wildlife species historically played an important role on Thanksgiving Day.

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is asking hunters to participate in its annual deer hunter effort and sighting survey.

Hunters who get a deer during the November 11-26 regular deer season are asked to provide an incisor tooth from their deer. 

Rewards are paid for information leading to arrests. 

All board meetings are open to the public online and in-person

The season for many species occurs between the end of October and the end of December.
