Introduction to Bullhead Fishing
Learn the basics of bullhead fishing through this hands-on introductory program. Participants will learn ethics, ecology, identification, rigging and more before heading out to try their luck at fishing. Equipment is provided or participants can bring their own. A headlamp or flashlight and a chair or bucket to sit on is recommended. Please dress for the weather.

Craft and Learn at Dead Creek Visitor Center- Turkey Tail Brooms and Biology
Join Vermont Fish & Wildlife and local artisan Nora Woolf of the Woolf Den Homestead to learn all about turkeys with an option to sign up for a workshop ($55) to develop a new skill of building a turkey tail broom!
The Dead Creek visitor center will be open to the public all day. The special workshop will run from 10am-12pm

Public Information Meeting on Dam Safety Rules - Middlebury VT
Two public information meetings will be held by the Agency of Natural Resources (ANR) this April to discuss how upcoming dam safety rules may affect the management of state-owned, manmade dams that have been impacted by beavers.
The public information meetings will be held at 6:30pm at the following dates and locations.
