Fishing Clinic

Trout Ice Fishing Clinic- Lake St. Catherine, Poultney VT

This hands on program will focus on the techniques used to target trout through the ice. Techniques covered will focus on rigging, depth, and much more. 

Equipment will be provided. Preregistration is required.

Learn the basics of ice fishing with this FREE hands-on program. Various topics will be covered, giving the participants the skills they need to know to feel confident ice fishing on their own. Equipment will be provided but participants should dress for the weather. Registration is required.

Introduction to Smelt Fishing

Learn the basic techniques used to catch smelt during the winter with this FREE fishing clinic. Topics such as ice safety, equipment and more will be covered. Participants should dress for the weather and bring a headlamp/flashlight. Equipment will be provided. Registration is required.

Introduction to Fish Processing- Vergennes VT

Learn the basics for fish processing and cooking in this hands-on course. Filleting and cleaning techniques will be shown in addition to at least two cooking methods. Fish will be provided and there will be ample time to practice the skills covered.
