Do you want to teach Vermonters to be safe, ethical, and legal while hunting? Do you have a passion for hunting and want to share that passion with others? Then teach with us! The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department is hosting a virtual instructor training course on Saturday, August 5th. All applicants must complete their instructor paperwork and online homework before attending the course.

Come ready to explore natural resources management and share a weekend with other youth from around Vermont who have the same interests.

Volunteers with the Let's Go Fishing Program encourage and teach young people and their families how to fish, emphasizing that fishing is more than just catching fish.

Register to become a certified Let's Go Fishing Instructor! After successfully completing this one day training and pending a background check you will be certified to conduct fishing clinics across Vermont on behalf of Vermont Fish & Wildlife.

Are you a new hunter and interested in hunting deer? Come learn the fundamentals with hands-on skills training at this overnight training course.
This course will conclude with a direct connection to a mentor for you to go hunting with this fall.

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is offering a New Instructor Training Course for people interested in volunteering to teach Hunter Education in Vermont.
The training will take place Tuesday, August 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Parro’s Gun Shop at 601 US-2, in Waterbury.
Policies and procedures, field techniques and teaching methods will be covered to give instructors the tools to teach future hunters how to have a safe and enjoyable experience.
