Canceled Due to Flooding- Basic Fly Fishing Clinic

We are sorry to announce that this clinic has been canceled due to flooding.

This clinic will include topics such as fly tackle, basic entomology/fly selection, fly casting, knots, regulations/ethics, and fish habitat. Students will be able to try fishing a pond at the end of the class. All tackle will be supplied. Dress for the weather as we will be outside much of the time.

Introduction to Fly Fishing- Canceled Due to Flooding

Join the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department's Let's Go Fishing program in an introduction to fly fishing course. The instructors are very skilled fly anglers and can help if you have been fly fishing and have specific questions or need assistance with advanced skills.

Teen Conservation Weekend

Teens ages 15-17 are invited to spend a weekend full of fun and adventure at the Edward F Kehoe Conservation Camp. Participants will spend the weekend participating on activities taught by department biologists, wardens and other staff.

This is a perfect way to unplug and engage with peers outdoors before heading back to the classroom. Space is limited so register today!
