Let's Go Fishing Program

Let's Go Fishing Fun
The Let’s Go Fishing Program is a network of volunteer instructors who encourage and teach youth and adults how to fish.

Let’s Go Fishing emphasizes that fishing is more than catching fish by:

  • educating participants about water ecology and fishing

  • helping participants become aware of and appreciate Vermont’s fish population, their habitat needs, and ways to be stewards of these resources

  • teaching proper fishing skills and ethics, including respect for the resource and the responsibility to know the rules and regulations of fishing.

Upcoming Fishing Events

Check out the schedule for Let's Go Fishing and other fishing events.

Volunteers are needed to expand the Let’s Go Fishing Program to all areas of the state.
